Monkeys and Batu Caves

Batu Caves, one of the most visited tourist spots in Malaysia, and challenging too because visitors will use the stairs with 272 steps to see the caves on top. They say that your wish will come true once you reached the top. So I dared myself to go up because I am after making my wish come true. I rest halfway on reaching to the top, and this cute little monkey is staring at me, without knowing that the other monkey took my passport inside my bag. Of course, my initial move is to run after the monkey and grab my passport back. However, it made the monkey upset that took the attention of other monkeys and they run after me. It was crazy, I ran fast as I could because I don't want them to hurt me. I also don't want to fight back because all I wanted was to escape. Other tourists can't do anything about, till it got the attention of one the caretakers, he shouted at the monkeys in a different language and threw them fruits. That's the time I sat without realizing that I am almost on top. People were staring at me while clapping hands. Others were scared and didn't continue going up. To cut the story short, I reached the top and wished. I still had a great time and I will never forget that experience. Just a tip, close your bag, don't bring any items that will get the attention of monkeys and please bring food for them.
